October 26th is the day Austria celebrates its neutrality – or the signing of the neutrality pact after the occupation of Austria ended in 1955. It is an Austrian tradition to take a hike on this holiday. IWA is joining that tradition and going on a short hike at the Kesselfall in Semriach.
The Kesselfall is a gorge near Graz and you can walk through the gorge on wooden bridges and ladders. You will see waterfalls and pools and rock cliffs. We will climb up the gorge on the bridges and ladders and we will return to our starting point over the hiking path past the “Stone Gate” mostly in wooded areas. The round-trip hike will take about 2 hours. After our hike we will have lunch at the Gasthaus Sandwirt.
