Responsibility for your data held by us

The IWA has always understood the responsibility and commitment to protecting the data relating to its members and contacts.

IWA’s Privacy Policy applies to the personal data that the IWA has collected and has stored in its central Member Information spreadsheet as well as personal data that has been sent in e-mails and letters to the IWA.

The IWA controls how your personal data is acquired and the purposes for which it is used.

Definition of personal data we have about you

When using the term ‘personal data’ in our Privacy Policy, we mean information that relates to you and allows us to identify you.

Your personal data includes your name and your contact details, for example, your full name, postal address, e-mail address, and telephone number(s).

Use of personal data

The data we hold about you is used exclusively for the purpose of contacting you to notify you about our events and activities through our e-mailing system and to improve the types and quality of the events we offer our members (General Meetings, Coffee Mornings, Activities, Playgroup, etc.).

Our member information is not shared with any other institution or organization.

We do not collect personal data from Cookie files via the IWA website.

Your information rights

You have the right to access your personal data and supplementary information.
