This Lunch & Munch gives you the opportunity to visit a traditional ‘Stüberl’ in Graz but at the same time try some classic Austrian or Croatian specialities (Čevapčiči, Ražnjič, Pleskavica…). The owners are Croatian, but a few Slovenian specialities (Laško beer on tap!) appear on the menu as well. If the weather is good, we can sit in their lovely little courtyard/garden.
A ‘Stüberl’ in Austrian German is a cozy restaurant or coffee house that is normally found in a guest house and decorated in a rustic style (= lots of wood!). Despite its humble exterior and interior, the Pirsch Stüberl was listed as one of the
best traditional ‘Stüberl’ in Graz: the food is great, prices reasonable, and portions very generous. Enjoy exploring this aspect of Austrian culture with us.
Please note: This traditional menu means that there are only a few vegetarian options (Käsespätzle and co.) and counting your calories is not recommended.
