The IWA is proud to announce its new collaboration with the Graz City Library, formed to support English literacy development. We are providing financial support for two special English children’s book readings in 2025 as part of the library’s LABUKA Spracheninsel program.
The Global Partnership for Education and UNESCO describe how encouraging children to become literate in multiple languages helps to promote linguistically inclusive and therefore peaceful societies. Our IWA members know from first-hand experience how important it is for their children to become fluent in the German language, while retaining fluency in languages spoken at home.
Find great children's (and other) English books at our next IWA Book Fair on Saturday, October 11 (9 AM - 2 PM). Proceeds from book sales go to our 2025 charity.
